RIP Beautiful | Vale | Sue’s View

Absolutely devastated to hear of the sudden and shock passing of one Barry’s most beautiful girls – inside and out.

Rest in peace Bethany Pile, I loved your cheeky charm, sometimes wild ways, and the smile that lit up your face.

My heart absolutely breaks for your Mum Pat, sisters Leanne and Carys, children Ella and Archie, plus everyone who knew and loved you.

Without a shadow of a doubt, your loving family are one of the kindest and caring in the whole town. Their grief must be so deep and is, of course, immeasurable.

Also sending thoughts and prayers to Sion, Bethany’s ex-partner who was so brutally beaten up after the recent Liam Gallagher Gig.

And is struggling with the life-changing injuries caused by the savage and senseless attack.

Love to Lloyd too.

Life can be so viciously cruel at times and our beloved Barry has been battered by the ill-winds of fate more than most recently.

I am almost lost for words, that just after we lost two of our most-well known characters, Buddha and Mike, we sit here stunned into silence by another tragedy.

I have many a fond memory of Beth after a stint in the Barry Benefits Office saw me meet ‘Pat and the Girls.’

I remember many a Saturday afternoon laying my little Chelsea on the floor in Canon Street whilst they played with her, making her giggle with delight.

This, of course, left Patsy and I plenty of time to have a cuppa, a natter, and, the odd cheeky fag.

This tradition carried on over the years in different homes, at different times, with different characters, as life moved on.

We managed many a fun-filled night out, a fair few lazy day barbecues, and some gossipy Girls nights in too.

Beth the teenager also loomed large as my number one babysitter. A rite of passage passed down from, first, Leanne, and then Carys.

Thank you – I know Handsome Harry could be a right handful.

I then watched Beth grow up and have her own family, always stopping to chew the fat whenever, and wherever our paths crossed.

Such great times with such great people full of marvellous memories that I will cherish forever.

Rest in Peace Beautiful Girl.
