Cadstock is one of the focal points of the Barry calendar, almost trebling in size since it began in 2009, with 2019’s decade celebration one of the biggest and bestest events the town has ever seen.

Now after a long two-year music drought, the event is back with a bang bringing us Barrians a weekender with something for everyone from ska to soft rock, mod to metal – and some sweet soul music too.

Many of the 2022 line up played at the cracking Keep Cadstock Alive Fundraiser at Barry Island Social Club on February 1st 2019, and the fabulous funds raised then will help stage this year’s show.

Hosted by the Vale of Glamorgan Parks Department plus the Friends of Victoria Park, and very much driven by local man Jonathan Greatrex, the success of the Festival, means rising costs but the organisers are determined keep the event free for music lovers.

Based on the Woodstock vibe, the weekender is free, flexible, for all, and family-friendly too. All ages are welcome, and there are absolutely no restrictions on bringing in your own food and drink.

Please help us keep the ethos of the event going by supporting where and when you can.

And watch this space for our soon to be released music merchandise including the collectors Cadstock T-shirt. All cash raised will be used to keep Cadstock alive.

See you there!
